Asian Antiques
This is going to be a photo gallery of Asian antiques from my father's collection. Some are Japanese while others are possibly Chinese.

This is one of my favorite peices in the collection. It is a bronze of a rat sitting on a gourd with coins. The rat in Asian culture is a lucky symbol meaning good fortune and wealth. It is beautifully crafted and has a wonderful warm patina from age.
